At Tracteur-Bits, well received goods and client satisfaction are our goals.
Order dispatch :
All received orders are prepared and sent after receiving payment. Unless we are out of stock all orders are sent within 5 days by transporter. In the eventual case of a problem or of longer delays, the client will be contacted by email by our services. All deliveries are grouped and the fees are calculated by the total weight of the order, with prices fixed by the transporter.
Don't forget to add your TELEPHONE NUMBER when you create an account, or to update your account if you didn't add it the first time. Your telephone number is necessary for the delivery services and is therefore essential for your orders to be delivered in good time.
Please note however that for all deliveries outside of France the delivery fees and delays may be higher.
Delivery methods :
We offer various delivery choices in an effort to meet all of your needs.
All orders under 500g are sent via envelope or lettre suivie. The delivery method is chosen by the person preparing your order.
All orders under 30Kg (between 500g and 30Kg) are sent in boxes. Our customers then have a choice between DPD, Colissimo ou Mondial Relay.
- Jiffy bag : Small orders of less than 250g are sent out well protected in Jiffy bags with La Poste.
- Lettre suivi : Small valuable order under500g are sent out in small boxes called Lettre Suivie with La Poste.
- DPD : This is our standard service, delivered within 48h/72h this courier delivers to your home, Monday to Friday, signature required.
- Chronopost: delivered within 48h/72h this courier delivers to your home, Monday to Saturday, signature required.
Returns and Credit notes :
If you wish to return an item for a credit note please contact us first. To be eligible for a credit note all items must be returned in their original packaging and as "new".
In accord with the French legislation and article L.121-20 of the Code de Consommation all customers can return any item within 14 days after delivery. The items cost (excluding delivery charge) will then be fully reimbursed according to the original payment method. The 14 days is applicable starting date of delivery.
After the 14 day periode any return request must be made directly with customer services. If accepted the clients account will be credited with an "avoir" to the value of the returned items.
We retain the right to refuse any returns claims made after the 14 day period, for these returns no refund can be made, only avoirs will be issued.
If an item is thought to have a manufacturing fault or problem, the return fees are to be paid by the buyer. Once returned, the item will be tested. If the item is indeed found to be faulty these delivery fees will be reimbursed and the item exchanged. If the item is found to be in perfect working condition no refund will be made and the item will be returned to the buyer.
